Pubs

The Nags Head:

Dog friendly pub serving classic pub grub food and serving local real ales, arguably the best pub in Malvern!

The Chase Inn:

Owned by the same owners as the Nags Head, but only a 20 minute walk through the hills, a perfect stop for walkers!

The Swan at Hanley:

One of our favourites, good food and lovely atmosphere. Close to the Three Counties Showground. 

The Water Cure:

A cocktail bar located in Great Malvern in a converted bank.

Faun

An independent, family-owned Bakery, Coffee Shop and Kitchen.

Mac and Jacks 

Delicious independent cafe & brunch spot.

The Kettle Sings

A tea room which was been serving afternoon tea and cake since 1928.

Restaurants

Malvern has some great pubs, these are just a few of our favourites and best rated.

The Cottage in the Wood:

the 1919 Restaurant: Situated on the Malvern Hills with beautiful views, they serve a tasting menu, afternoon tea and have an award winning a la carte menu, perfect for those special occasions.

The Inn at Welland:

An award winning restaurant, recognised with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and an AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence, arguably with one of the best wine lists in the local area, another one for a special occasion.

The Malvern Hills Hotel:

Situated directly opposite the Iron Age hill fort,with an 18th century oak lounge bar serving good food using the final local ingredients.

Peppes:

A charming and delicious Italian restuarant.

Gurkha Chef or The Anupam:

In our opinion the best Indian restaurants in Malvern. They also do delivery for the nights you fancy staying in!

Eastnor Castle:

An enchanting castle at the foot of the Malvern Hills (20 minute drive).

Forest of Dean:

Walking, cycling, horse ride, Go Ape, Gruffalo trail and more! (1hr drive).

Cotswolds: There are many beautiful villages to visit (1hr drive).

Ledbury: Similar to Malvern, it is a poetry town with historic charm and some great independent shops and cafes (15 minute drive).

Croome National Trust (25 minute drive).

Malvern Theatre:

Malvern has long been associated with the arts. Since the late 19th century Malvern's famous theatre complex has attracted audiences from far and wide, George Bernard the famous playwright would use Malvern Theatres for his plays.

Morgan Factory:

The Morgan Experience Centre is the perfect destination for automotive thrill seekers and travellers alike, which also has a lovely cafe, and only a 10 minute drive from Number ThirtySeven.

Farmers Market in Great Malvern:

Held every third Saturday of the month inside the Priory Grounds (worth a visit in itself), plenty of stalls and local produce. 

In the kitchen there is a drawer under the speaker, you’ll find a range of leaflets with great ideas for days out in the Malverns and the surrounding area.

Three Counties Showground:

Renowned for hosting events that attract visitors from far and wide. It's worth checking their schedule to see if there's anything that takes your interest. When looking out onto the view you will notice the showground to your right.
